Our Xstream trumpet mouthpieces were designed to help deliver  more power to your trumpet while using less effort. In turn that helps increase your endurance and better your performance. Our trumpet mouthpieces have been known to improve players upper registers. Some notice an increase the first time they play it and others find an increase in register as they get to know the mouthpiece. Our mouthpieces have great flexibility, it’s even easier to lock in your notes.

Other mouthpieces can sound flat as you play into the higher registers. The Xstream mouthpiece addresses that issue.

The Xstream trumpet mouthpiece maintains an outstanding response thoughout the register, intonation, a constant pitch center and a brilliant solid core sound. Xstream trumpet tops were designed and balanced to compliment all of the Xstream backbores, delivering outstanding sound and comfort.

Our trumpet mouthpiece is a two piece mouthpiece. When ordering, be sure to choose your top and backbore.

Cup (top) Models

X – The “X” model is a high compression cup design. The X designation was designed for commercial players looking to add extra edge and projection to their sound. You can get a less bright sound by combining this top with either our XXF or XXD backbore.

XX – The “XX” model is a Medium depth cup with a reverse radius design. The XX designation was designed for players that needs more depth inside the cup, but still maintains a bright sound with excellent projection.

B – The “B” model is based off the Bach mouthpiece with a similar bowl shaped cup as well as the rim, while still using the Xstream Power Chamber Design. The B designation was designed with the Orchestral and Jazz musician in mind, giving them a robust sound while still maintaining a more open and flexible upper register with added projection, outstanding response, intonation and a solid core sound.

Xstream Trumpet Mouthpiece Backbores – Sale Price $49.99

Xstream’s trumpet backbores give any player the opportunity to achieve either a little darker or a much brighter sound by simply changing the backbore, eliminating the need to play a very shallow or very deep mouthpiece. So instead of sacrificing your range by playing a deeper cup to get a darker sound or sacrificing your lower register to play higher with a shallow cup, you only need the Xstream top and backbore of your choice.

Backbore Models

XXX - The “Triple X” backbore will give you a tight core to the notes with greater projection and a slightly brighter sound than the XXF backbore. This is our benchmark backbore for lead players and rockers. This backbore lets your sound project much further with less effort.

XXF - The “XXF” backbore was designed for players who demand a more traditional sound. The XXF backbore lets you move more air than our XXX backbore, giving the player a more robust traditional sound while maintaining a bright and powerful upper register.

XXD - The “XXD” backbore was designed for players who demand an even darker traditional sound. The XXD backbore allows the sound to roll off the end of the bell creating a wider darker sound than our XXF backbore.
